SoFi Stadium, the new home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles
Chargers, is located at Hollywood Park, a 298-acre sports and
entertainment destination being developed by Los Angeles Rams
Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke in Inglewood, California. The 3.1
million square-foot SoFi Stadium is the largest stadium in the NFL,
as well as the first indoor/outdoor stadium. It seats approximately
70,000, expandable up to 100,000, with more than 260 luxury suites
and more than 13,000 premium seats. SoFi Stadium has already
secured Super Bowl LVI in 2022, the College Football National
Championship Game in 2023, and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies
of the Olympic Games in 2028.
SUMMARY:
Under the general direction of the Sr. Director of Business
Operations, the Benefits and Payroll Support Specialist is
responsible for providing employees with information related to
their Benefits, Payroll, Leave of Absences and answering employee
questions related to Human Resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Benefits Administration Functions:

- Administers benefits programs including health, dental, vision,
FSA, COBRA, EDD, and 401(k).
- Provides day-today support to employees about eligibility and
other benefit related matters
- Monitors eligibility for benefits enrollment and changes.
- Organizes and manages annual open enrollment.
- Serve as primary contact for plan vendors and third-party
administrators.
- Works with Human Resources to conduct onboarding and
offboarding process.
- Assists with financial and legal reporting such as quarter and
year-end, reconciliations, EEO-1, ACA, 401(k)
- Provides account reconciliation support to Finance.
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of health benefit
invoices.
- Helps ensure legal compliance of all benefits related
laws.
- Assist employees with administrative leave questions,
practices, and paperwork.
- Administers leave programs and policies - FMLA, ADA, Pregnancy
Discriminations, CFRA, USERRA, etc.
Payroll Support Functions:
- Assists with bi-weekly ADP-Workforce Now payroll
processing.
- Run reports and analytics as needed.
- Helps to resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable government regulated.
- Helps to prepare and distribute detailed reports, e.g.,
overtime, PTO, turnover, headcount.
- Responds to unemployment related requests, subpoenas for
employee records.
- Ensure garnishment orders are accurately processed and affected
employees are notified in a timely manner.
- Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications:
- A minimum of two consecutive years in benefits
administration.
- Knowledge of ABI and ADP is preferred
- A minimum 2 years' experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or
Benefits is preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, start-up
environment.
- Excellent computer skills, specifically in Microsoft and Google
Suite.
- A Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2-4 years benefits experience at a large organization with
diverse employee populations.
- Excellent understanding of benefits plans, and compliance
requirements (FMLA, ACA, HIPAA, federal and state laws)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent
interpersonal skills.
- Data-oriented, process driven and analytical
- Advanced knowledge of Google Suite, and Excel.
- Exceptional integrity, accountability, and the ability to
always maintain confidentiality.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Experience with Open Enrollment.
- Ability to thrive in a demanding, change-oriented, fast-paced
environment.
- Ability to work in a rapidly evolving, fast paced culture and
meet time-critical deadlines.
- Ability to maintain professional and approachable demeanor to
effectively handle sensitive employee inquiries and maintain great
employee rapport.
- Demonstrates flexibility, organization and self-motivation.
