Reporting to the RN Manager of
Medical Surgical and Telemetry Services, The Nursing Supervisor of
Telemetry Services will oversee a telemetry monitoring unit that
handles a variety of different patient cases. This person will be
responsible for all administrative and clinical functions of the
unit This Nurse Supervisor will have support of a fabulous team
of Charge Nurses, Telemetry RN’s, and Nurse Educators. This
person will have clinical oversight of the unit, with the support
of the leadership team.

Services will take clinical oversight of 30+ beds, and a full

Cardiovascular Telemetry to Neurology, this unit has earned an

The Nursing Supervisor Telemetry
Services will provide leadership for the process of planning,
directing, integrating and coordinating activities to achieve
departmental objectives. This person will work together with the
Manager of the unit on personnel management, budget planning and
monitoring, scheduling, systems improvement, compliance with
regulatory requirements, strategic planning and participates in
direct patient care as necessary. This nurse leader will serve as a
mentor to the staff, sponsoring training, skills development, and
performance improvement. An ideal candidate will be someone who is
a subject matter expert for evidence based practices in regards to
inpatient and acute care nursing.
