JUNIOR ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY WANTED!!

Pay and Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with skill and experience and is negotiable. We also pay for health, dental and vision insurance, continuing legal education, bar dues, and some voluntary bar memberships. Retirement benefits are available.

Responsibilities:
--- Meet statutory deadlines
--- Overall execution of client cases
--- Draft pleadings
--- Meet and correspond with client
--- Meet and correspond with opposing counsel
--- Advise client on legal options for litigation and/or settlement
--- Prepare clients for hearings and depositions
--- Appear in court for motions, management conferences, settlement conferences
--- Draft and respond to discovery
--- Draft and oppose motions
--- Prepare cases for trial and attend trials
--- Interview key witnesses

Qualifications:

Job Qualifications:
--- You must have graduated from an ABA or California-accredited law school and be admitted to the State Bar of California.
--- You must not have any discipline record with any State Bar.
--- You should have 1-5 years of experience in State and/or Federal Civil Litigation.
--- Administrative Law experience is a bonus.
--- Workable knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet tools, presentation software and other technologies
--- Good research skills and techniques, including using case studies to make supporting claims and arguments
--- Analytical ability, logical reasoning and sound judgment when professionally handling their clients' cases
