Job Description:
A technology company is filling a position for a Remote
Principal Software Development Engineer.
Must be able to:
Identify present and future limits of the system and develop plans
to mitigate or avoid them
Coach and develop other engineers, including senior engineers
Model strong technical communication and non-adversarial critical
thinking
Qualifications Include:
Has had formal leadership responsibility for cross-functional
technical projects
10+ years of software development experience, 4+ of senior
leadership
Experience with large deployments on public cloud systems
Familiar with acceptable and unacceptable failure modes for a
platform
Fluency with describing the impact of architectural choices to
developers and business stakeholders
Can oversee migration between systems
