hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm *After the completion of
training, Sunday shift can be added, once or less than once a
monthOVERVIEW:A global leading Freight Forwarding/ Logistics
company is looking for a motivated candidate for the opening of
Customer Service Agent in their Air Import department.The main
duties include ensuring the proper and timely movement of freight
and information, while providing an exceptional customer service
within the Air Import department.By working for a major logistics
company, you will be able to learn about the flow of goods across
the world.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT
LIMITED TO: ---- - - - - - - Arrange and coordinate Air Import
shipment process with customers and vendors (airlines, trucking
companies, customs brokers, warehouse and others).--- - - - - - -
Prepare customs documents and arrival notice forms through the
company system for brokers.--- - - - - - - Provide cargo
information to airline companies required for the U.S. customs
clearance process and air Automated Manifest System (AMS). ---- - -
- - - - Track and trace shipments with airline companies, and
interact with customers updating the information regarding their
air import shipments.--- - - - - - - Perform data entry into the
company's operating system and excel spreadsheet.. ---- - - - - - -
Arrange the delivery dispatch from LAX Airport to customers to meet
the schedule deadline.--- - - - - - - Perform accurate and timely
client and vendor billing.--- - - - - - - Process ACH and check
payments to airline companies.--- - - - - - - Other duties
requested by Management.QUALIFICATIONS:--- - - - - - - Proficiency
in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)--- - - - - - - Previous work
experience as a customer service role is preferred (not mandatory)
