Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN)
for our Direct Observation Unit (DOU) / Telemetry unit. The ideal
candidate will provide specialized care for patients transitioning
out of the ICU or requiring close, continuous monitoring of vital
signs and cardiac rhythms. This role requires the ability to
quickly identify and respond to changing patient conditions,
administering treatments in collaboration with a specialized
healthcare team. Key Responsibilities: - Patient Monitoring:
Monitor, interpret, and record data from specialized telemetry
equipment (cardiac rhythms, blood pressure, SPO2). - Assessment &
Care: Assess complex patients, including post-surgical, and manage
patients with unstable vital signs. - Intervention: Administer
medication and perform treatment interventions under the direction
of a physician or nurse practitioner. - Collaboration: Work closely
with the healthcare team to implement care plans and escalate
changes in condition promptly. - Education: Explain test results
and procedures to patients and families. Qualifications: - Current
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. - BLS and
ACLS certification, MAB & Fire card. - Minimum 1–2 years of
experience in Acute Care, Telemetry, or ICU Step-down. - Strong
proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation. Please feel free to
