Job Description Job Description Description Location: Fountain Valley, CA Shift: Day Shift (3x12-Hour, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Friday – Sunday) Start Date: February 11, 2025 Duration: 13 weeks Job Responsibilities: Provide emergency nursing care for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Work in a STEMI and Stroke Certified Facility Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, arterial lines, ventilated patients, and procedural sedation Perform phlebotomy, IV starts, and administer IV vasopressors Utilize EPIC documentation system Work every other weekend Requirements Experience: Minimum 3 years in ER (First-time travelers accepted with 3-5 years of experience) Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, MAB, NIHSS, PALS Skills: Pediatric ER, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, BiPAP/CPAP, ABG interpretation License: Active CA RN license (must be in hand at time of submission) Travelers: First-time travelers accepted COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious exemptions allowed) References: 1 required (within the last 2 years) Benefits $63-68/hr Overtime: After 12 regular hours in a day OR 60 regular hours in a week Holiday Pay: Paid for major holidays worked (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas) Application Process: Time Off Requests: Must be included at the time of submission (max 5 days) Required Documents: CA RN license, Nursys report (within 2 weeks), certifications Compliance: No Nursys hits, previous perm staff not allowed
