Job Description NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Torrance, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Surgical Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Required: - 2 Years minimum of inpatient operating room experience in a Level I Trauma Center as a Surgical Tech responsible: - Preparing the operating room - setting up sterile fields with instruments - anticipates surgeon needs during complex cases - passes tools - handles specimens - performs counts - assists with patient care (pre/post-op) - maintains strict sterility - requiring high adaptability for diverse, critical surgeries and potentially faster turnover cases - Certifications: - Certified Surgical Tech (NBSTSA or NCCT) - BLS
