Find your future with us.Boeing Space Mission Systems is currently seeking a System Architecture Manager to join their team in El Segundo, CA.The position will be focused on managing the system architecture capability in support of space system development activities.Position Responsibilities:

• Develops System level architectures, CONOPS, requirements, plans and implements team policies and procedures to ensure delivery of quality architecture products.
• Works closely with and provides technical guidance to team members who are evaluating customer's operational needs and defining architectures for Boeing Solutions.
• Ensures that team members have the resources needed to meet task objectives and are integrating Boeing MBSE processes and tools into their workflow.
• Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Systems Engineering.
• Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
• Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manages, develops and motivates employees.Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic--Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 10+ years' experience in systems engineering
  • 5+ years' experience leading teamsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
