Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, is located at Hollywood
Park, a 298-acre sports and entertainment destination being
developed by Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke in
Inglewood, California. The 3.1 million square-foot SoFi Stadium is
the largest stadium in the NFL, as well as the first indoor outdoor
stadium. It seats approximately 70,000, expandable up to 100,000,
with more than 260 luxury suites and more than 13,000 premium

College Football National Championship Game in 2023, and the

interaction. Position Summary Hollywood Park is seeking a Vice
President of Broadcast Operations & Production that will lead the
efforts in delivering a best-in-class event experience. Reporting
to the CTO, this individual will focus on three areas; 1)
maintaining and improving all Broadcast and Production related
technology 2) managing the full-time staff and event-day
professionals that can maximize the use of thousands of displays,
audio and creative lighting at SoFi Stadium, YouTube Theater and
the Hollywood Park campus and 3) lead all administrative
procedures, communications and management of the Broadcast
Operations and Production department. This individual needs to be a
natural problem solver who is humble, creative, adaptable and team
oriented. They will collaborate with an extensive group of internal
and external stakeholders including Facility Operations, Security,
Guest Experience, and various other internal and external
stakeholders to ensure the best event experience possible.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the management, maintenance and improvement of the
state-of-the-art Broadcast Production Control Room, LED Displays,
Audio Systems, IPTV Systems, Creative Lighting and Broadcast
Network systems
- Provide operational expertise for all video, audio, lighting
and production systems and equipment used for venue and event
presentation including, but not limited to, Production Control
Room, LED Displays, IPTV systems, Creative Lighting and Audio
systems' content creation and programming
- Maintain and develop improvements for Broadcast related
policies and procedures regarding facilities presentation with a
focus on maximizing the integration of all systems to meet
business, marketing, and entertainment goals
- Maintain and develop improvements for standard operating
procedures for all building AV, presentation broadcast technical
services, and digital media assets; ensure all content is
effectively delivered to all playback and show control systems
- Lead production team in planning, strategizing and executing
the production of live events using SoFi Stadium, YouTube Theater
and Hollywood Park campus video boards and online streams
- Maintain, improve and lead a team of full-time broadcast
professionals, engineers and game-day operators/freelancers to
operate and work all events; conduct ongoing reviews of budgeting
and staffing plans, recruiting, training, supervising, and
evaluating departmental personnel and service providers
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including but not limited
to; Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, Marketing, Corporate
Partnerships and event promoters to ensure game and event
presentation content is developed and executed efficiently and
effectively
- Maintain and improve HWP's extensive display network including
hundreds of displays located throughout the HWP campus. Collaborate
with our Partnership Team on content strategies and identifying
potential revenue.
- Maintain and develop improve effective strategies for meeting
internal and external client needs through creative deployment of
building technology
- Manage third-party service providers by enforcing the agreed
upon scope of services within the various signed service agreements
(i.e. freelance and union production crewing agencies, maintenance
providers, contractors, digital signage service providers,
etc.)
- Evaluate and improve existing and future third-party
maintenance agreements
- Ensure all equipment is ready, and events are covered through
scheduling
- Works closely with content creation, Broadcast, IT, Operations
and other groups across HWP to resolve problems and assist in their
areas of need
- Willing and able to step in and perform tasks as needed,
including assuming any role in the Production Control Room
- Responsible for maintaining and updating all Broadcast and
Production rate cards across all HWP Campus services
- Responsible for generating Quotes for all events at SoFi
Stadium, YouTube Theater and the Hollywood Park campus
- Responsible for processing final Settlements
- Maintain, improve and develop department fiscal budget
- Manage and collaborate with a highly-talented Broadcast
Operations staff and sub-departments; Broadcast Engineering (Video
Engineers, Audio Engineers, Lighting Designers and Audio/Video
Technicians), IPTV, Production and Event Technical Specialist
- Maintain and improve department culture, work/life balance,
community service and collaboration
- Enable staff to deliver beyond expectations by listening often,
coaching and follow-through. Education and/or Experience
- 7-10 years of experience in a managerial capacity in venue
presentation and/or Live Event/TV production
- Bachelor's degree
- Prior experience in managing, operating and maintaining a
technically advanced Production Control Room and large format
displays
- Prior and specific knowledge of broadcast production systems
including Ross Acuity Switchers, Ross XPression and Tessera
systems, Ross Pierro, Ross Dashboard, Ross Inception, Evertz
Routing and Multi-viewers, Evertz Dreamcatcher, Riedel
Communications, Sony 4K Broadcast Cameras, CiscoVision, etc.
- Experience leading a large group of production professionals,
freelancers and day-of-event personnel
- Detailed knowledge of video and scoreboard production in a
sports and entertainment facility
- Strong knowledge of production workflow, HD/UHD/HDR/4K
production, IP workflow, QC procedures, signal flow and MAM
systems
- Previous experience integrating, implementing or refreshing an
arena/venue broadcast control room, including familiarity with
modern broadcast cabling infrastructure used in broadcast
environments
- Exemplary communication skills and professionalism to deal
effectively with all business contacts, vendors and clients
- Knowledge and previous experience working with the NFL and
concert/event show promoters preferred
- Available to work night, weekends and holidays Required Skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Proficient in Google office software
- Ability to work within strict deadlines
- Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously
- Work well with other departments and organizational staff in
order to collaborate and establish an effective workflow within a
team environment
- Adapt to ever changing requests and revisions and must be able
to lead, direct and perform in a timely manner
- Flexible in working hours including nights, weekends and
holidays
- Attend meetings and provide updates while communicating clearly
Salary Range: $200,000.00 - $260,000.00

compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this
position only. Hollywood Park considers a candidate's education,
certification, prior experience, as well as internal and external
data when determining the salary level for potential new employees.
Only in exceptional circumstances, if an external candidate has the
experience, credentials, or expertise far exceeding what is
expected for the position, would Hollywood Park consider paying a
salary or rate near the higher end of the range. Please note this
