Job Description:
Job Description As a Staff Manufacturing Engineer, you will be
the Lead for our Corrective Action (CA) Team and responsible for
for developing and optimizing manufacturing CA processes and
procedures to drive operational excellence. You will leverage your
expertise in developing metrics, presentations, reports and
ensuring that effective Root Cause and Corrective Actions (RCCA's)
are implemented. Key Responsibilities: • Lead team of CA
Manufacturing Engineers through the RCCA lifecycle to ensure
effective and permanent corrective actions are implemented and are
effective. • Help facilitate meetings, Sr. Management Metric
Reviews, Fabrication Corrective Action Boards (FABCAB), Corrective
Action Review Team (CART), Manufacturing Engineering Corrective
Action Team (MECAT) and Joint Advisory Group (JAG) • Develop and
present metrics / information pertaining to corrective actions to
Lockheed Management and Customers • Help Lead the Manufacturing
Engineering groups Continuous Improvement Activities • Assist in
internal and external audits such as AS9100 • Collaborate with
other departments, such as Production, Quality, Planning,
Engineering and etc to ensure timely and relevant CA are developed
and are implemented. • Support cross-functional initiatives to
improve cycle time, cost, quality, and safety across manufacturing

Experience in a manufacturing shop floor environment • Proficient
using MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and other
programs such as Tableau and MRP system or SAP or other
Manufacturing Execution System (MES) application • Greenbelt
Certification or extensive Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing
experience • Experience with Root Cause and Corrective Actions
(RCCA's) • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance per
business requirements Desired skills • Bachelor's Degree with 7
years of experience, advance degree such as MBA is desirable •
Experience leading teams • Certified Blackbelt - Lean - Six Sigma
training experience • F-35 production, fabrication or design
experience • Experience with Composite Fabrication including layup,
bond, and machining • Experience with cross-functional teams •
Process Improvement experience in a manufacturing environment •
Possess good communication skills (written and verbal) Lockheed

Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with
this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports
a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional
flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40
hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off
benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a
government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for
consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this
position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most
major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland,
Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is
$99,700 - $175,835. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work
location. Please note that the salary information is a general
guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not
limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's
work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market
and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits

and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented

to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for

incentive plan eligible. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for
this position in most major metropolitan areas in California,
Massachusetts, and New York is $114,700 - $198,720. For states not
referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect
