This new member of our team should have a great positive attitude and a willingness to learn new things. We specialize in the fields of air conditioning, refrigeration, heating, ventilation and energy management. Examples of traits we are looking for in our new team member are: • Must be punctual • Eager to learn • Has a positive attitude • Dependable / Reliable • Professional • Detail Oriented • Critical Thinking Skills • Negotiation Skills • HVAC System Knowledge • Sheet Metal & Piping Take-off Knowledge • Able to meet bidding deadlines • Able to read and understand Project Manuals, Specifications and Drawings List of Duties, but not limited to: • Prior Public Works estimating experience. • Attend bid meetings and site walks. • Read Requests for Proposals, Specifications and Mechanical Drawings. • Contact and solicit subcontractors to obtain competitive bids. • Verified material costs with multiple vendors to obtain competitive material quotes. • Prepare HVAC and Mechanical Piping take-offs using Trimble Autobid Estimating software.
