Job Description Job Description North County Cadillac GMC is
seeking an experienced professional and outgoing Service Advisor to
join us in supporting our dealership staff and customers while
assisting building and representing the brand! In this role, the
Service Advisor will work directly with our customers on their
vehicle repair needs. A great opportunity awaits the right
individual in our fast paced and busy Service Department. We
provide a highly competitive compensation plan, along with the
security of being part of an award-winning location and team. Pay:
$60,000 - $140,000 Annually What are the day-to-day
responsibilities? Ensures prompt, professional, friendly, and
timely greeting of all customers. Communicates with service
customers to determine the nature of the problem or concern.
Obtains customers and vehicle data utilizing current dealership
technology. Advises customer on care of their vehicle and the value
of maintaining the vehicle in accordance with manufacturer’s
specifications and provides suggestions for maintenance. Provides
customer estimates of labor and parts and obtains approval for work
to be done. Fully explains to customers any additional work that is
required, including additional cost and time consideration based on
timely multi-point inspection. Follows up on the progress of each
repair throughout the day and updates the customer regarding any
changes to initial agreement or timeline. Ensures payment for all
repairs is secured before vehicle leaves the dealership. Maintains
Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) rating above group rating.
Conducts all transactions in a professional, legal, and ethical
manner. What are the requirements for this job? Previous experience
preferred, but not required. Skill and ability to apply and perform
basic accounting functions and mathematic operations including
addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Skill and
ability to use personal computers and related software
applications, including MS Office, ADP,CDK and dealership specific
software. Must have general knowledge of vehicle mechanical
operations. Orientation to profitability. Skill and ability to
communicate ideas and instructions clearly and concisely to both
customers and technicians in a professional manner. Skill and
ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Must maintain a high level of integrity. Strong attention to detail
and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Proven ability
to work independently and in a team environment, promoting positive
working relationships. Must have excellent interpersonal abilities
and customer service skills. Must be able to maintain composure & a
positive attitude under pressure Must be able to drive vehicles
