Job Description:

Lead Product Manager (The Boston Consulting Group, Inc. - Manhattan Beach, CA) - Manage the product lifecycle, including product design/formation, concept testing, product development, market strategy, and product delivery for various elements of our digital product lines within a lean, Agile-based incubation and commercialization environment. Specific duties include: facilitate product requirements gathering across the team and manage the incubation, commercialization process gates and deadlines; define the design attributes of a digital product or service, including the feature lists, user stories, and roadmaps; collaborate with designers and solution architects to develop the information architecture and prototype the product design; manage project formation to scoping, design, concept testing and delivery; provide insights into product, technology, and market trends; act as the voice of the customer in the definition of innovative digital solutions; provide insights into product, technology, and market trends; manage product feedback through surveys, concept testing, analytics tools, and A/B testing; manage brand definition and establish the positioning of digital products with the target customer segments; develop the pricing strategy; determine and assist in implementing the operating model and infrastructure for clients; develop business case, operating plans, and business proposals; develop and monitor budgets; design, monitor, and report on product KPIs; and redefine internal processes for efficiency and scalability. Requires a Masters degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Product Design or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience performing product management and development. Alternatively, requires a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Product Design or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience performing product management and development. Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): (i) utilizing Agile development methodologies, including Agile scrum management; (ii) developing digital business models and launching multiple digital products; (iii) conducting product design/formation and implementation involving user story and product roadmap development, concept testing, product development, market strategy, and product delivery within a lean, Agile-based incubation and commercialization environment; (iv) performing business opportunity assessment, business modeling, and competitive analysis; (v) performing pilot planning, management and executing product planning; (vi) lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, engineers, and marketing/sales throughout the product lifecycle; and (vii) develop and launch new and innovative product and business lines.
