Disney Ad Sales' Revenue Management division is seeking a Director to join our dynamic Addressable Pricing & Planning team. This role will lead the pricing & planning function across Disney's collection of brands, with a focus on Performance Marketing & Programmatic lines of business. As a Director, Pricing & Planning, you will play a vital role in developing and executing monetization strategies that optimize the interface between supply & demand; this includes short-term & long-term pricing tactics, Upfront & Scatter partnerships, ad product & inventory maximization strategies across guaranteed and non-guaranteed deal types as well as Sales incentive programs. Reporting into the Vice President of Pricing & Planning, you will lead, manage & scale a multi-regional team of Managers & Sales Planners; this includes stewarding overall team performance towards departmental revenue targets. This is a highly cross-functional role, which partners with senior leaders across Sales, Inventory Analytics, Account Management, Ad Platform and Sales Enablement to automate workflows, create operational efficiencies and improve speed-to-market. In addition, you will lead the conceptualization, development, and implementation of pricing management tools that garner business insights and inform go-to-market strategies. In parallel, you will maintain strong business relationships with Sales and Operations leaders across all business verticals to expand partnerships with key clients, agencies and industry sectors. The right person for this role must be very detail-oriented, a strong communicator, a problem-solver, and is adept at building & maintaining relationships across business divisions. Responsibilities :

  • Lead a multi-regional team of Planning Managers & Sales Planners across Performance Marketing & Programmatic lines of business
  • Develop and execute pricing models across guaranteed and non-guaranteed deal types, managing the dynamic between client-direct and agency-led business
  • Partner cross-functionally with senior leaders from Sales, Inventory Analytics, Account Management, Ad Platform and Sales Enablement to automate workflows, create operational efficiencies and improve speed-to-market
  • Utilize quantitative analysis, marketplace knowledge and experience to test new and developing go-to-market strategies
  • Create, manage and implement negotiated rate cards and ensure adherence to terms & conditions across key Sales and Sales support teams
  • Analyze ad product and pricing trends for key clients, agencies and industry sectors; proactively recommend action plans to Senior Management to facilitate the growth of the business
  • Curate effective communications and presentations for Executive Leadership, to drive adoption of new strategies and accelerate implementation
  • Steward overall data quality and deal governance across key CRM/OMS/SSP end points to properly support downstream revenue and inventory reporting
  • Support Sales as the primary decision-maker in addressing pricing & packaging escalations
    Basic Qualifications :
    • 9+ years working in a digital advertising capacity, with a focus on yield, reporting and analytics preferred
    • At least 5 years digital management experience, leading, managing and developing high-performance teams
    • Deep expertise working within a national sales organization
    • Significant media-math/financial acumen, with the ability to be very hands-on in developing tools and processes
    • A strong knowledge of online ad products, ad serving capabilities, philosophies, and drawbacks
    • Proven ability to work across teams & navigate complex multi-stakeholder environments
    • Ability to present complicated concepts and ideas in an easy-to-understand format
    • Experience working with Salesforce & Operative1 is a plus
    • Experienced Excel & PowerPoint user
    • Proactive and engaging, with a positive approach towards collaboration and problem-solving
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, unstructured, and dynamic environment
